Schools This is incredibly challenging but equally rewarding work. We also instill the value of good manners (respect), and ultimately all the five tenets of Taekwondo to the children. The fun that the children have doing Taekwondo is very evident, but it is also excellent physical exercise and reinforces discipline and respect. The instructors are always punctual, friendly and are extremely child-friendly. They have also developed excellent relationships with parents and the school. We aim to continue the club well in to the future and look forward to watching our Taekwondo members’ further their achievements. St Margaret's School The class is run very efficiently by David Carmichael and is enjoyed by all the children who attend. Many have made excellent progress and demonstrate real potential for the future. It is an all inclusive class. Parents are encouraged to stay and watch their children take part and have been happy to recommend the class to others. As Headteacher of St. Margaret's School, I am delighted to offer our children the opportunity to learn Taekwondo as an after school activity. We have fostered an excellent relationship with Tangun Taekwondo and hope that this provision will continue long into the future. Regards, Jeremy All our instructors are Enhanced CRB (Criminal Record) checked, and fully insured. At present, we are currently teaching in primary & secondary schools in the Greenwich Borough.

Foxfield Primary School introduced the Taekwondo after school club in January. The club, expertly led by David Carmichael, runs from 3.30 – 4.30pm each Monday and is attended by children in years 2 – 6 (ages 7-11). The children thoroughly enjoy the sessions and some have enjoyed it so much that they have enrolled in other sessions run at the main club at other times during the week. Two children have actually started working on belts and have moved up one colour. After a recent assembly for the rest of the school and parents, demand for places at the club has increased, so the class will shortly be split in to Intermediate and Beginners groups.
Well done, and thank you!

The children have thoroughly enjoyed this half term’s Taekwondo coaching.
The lesson is well paced and the coach has introduced new skills at a good rate. All children regardless of ability have benefitted from learning different skills and they show good motivation and an eagerness to improve during classes.
The coach has a firm control over the class and reinforces the importance of “Black Belt Attitude” to the children. As well as the more practical side of Taekwondo, the coach has taught the 5 Tenets throughout the course.
This has been excellent at promoting self-control and discipline alongside a healthy sense of competition. I’ve been really impressed with the quality of coaching and I know that the children have really enjoyed themselves.

We were delighted to have the opportunity to offer a Taekwondo class at St. Margaret's School in the middle of the academic year. Since then the class has gone from strength to strength and the ever increasing membership spans the whole primary age range.
